Built to help the smaller shop compete

The pattern that started this: a two-truck operation doing better work than the outfit across town, losing the job anyway because the other business showed up first on a phone screen and had forty more reviews. The work was not the problem. The presence was.

Most of what fixes that is unglamorous and repeatable — asking every customer for a review instead of hoping, keeping a Google profile current, making sure the site tells Google plainly what you do and where. It is exactly the kind of work that never gets done when you are also running the crew and quoting jobs.

My background is workforce planning and HR, which is less of a detour than it sounds. Both jobs are the same shape: find where a process quietly leaks, build something that stops the leak, and make it run without a person remembering to do it. That is what this is, pointed at local search instead of staffing.

We build our own tools rather than reselling someone else's platform. That is slower up front and it means we can work on what actually moves a local business, instead of whatever a vendor's dashboard happens to report on.
